A Family Legacy

M&M Quality Grinding was founded in 1981 by the Muthana family in a 4,000-square-foot shop in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Still family-owned today, we’ve grown into a leading provider of precision bar stock for high-performance industries across North America. We now operate out of a 70,000-square-foot facility in Hodgkins, Illinois.

We serve CNC machine shops, OEMs, and material suppliers that rely on consistent, tight tolerance bar stock. Our customers include leaders in aerospace, medical, and industrial manufacturing. We’re ISO 9001:2015 certified and built to support high-volume turning and Swiss operations.

From the beginning, we’ve invested in state-of-the-art equipment and rigorous quality control to meet the evolving needs of our customers. In 2015, we achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, underscoring our commitment to exceptional quality and customer service.

Family-owned and operated since 1981, we started with precision grinding services. Later, services like chamfering, straightening, and saw cutting were added to accommodate customers’ requests. In 2023, we moved into our new 70,000 square foot facility in Hodgkins, IL, with additional space to accommodate our growing list of national customers.
